Led Zeppelin 英語喉即興スピーチ [My Practice]

This afternoon I recorded an impromptu speech about the great rock band, Led Zeppelin.

Here is the transcript for it...

Basically, I'm a die-hard Beatles fan. Meanwhile I love many different kinds of music. And I actually play the guitar on several categories. The most favorite is Jazz, as I often said.
Anyway, I've really got into the Beatles in my first-year of junior high school. And I've also got into Deep Purple in my second-year of it, which I referred to, in my last speech.
Anyway Deep Purple had broken my previous outlook on rock music. But, oh my god, pretty much unexpectedly, Led Zeppelin had still broken it, yeah. They are also from England as well as Deep Purple.
One day in my third-year of junior high school, one of my fellow music lovers in those days, who was also a Deep Purple freak like me, said to me at school, "hey, I've just came across with far cooler band than Deep Purple." Then I said, "No way! Are you pulling my leg?" "Anyway Check this out," he said and gave me an album in which a big airship was drawn in black and white. Then I took home and tried to listen to it.
And....to tell you the truth, I was completely blown away by their extraordinary music power
So we immediately caught up with their second, third, and fourth albums. The fourth includes the most favorite tune of theirs, called "Stairway to Heaven".
Not only was their music really cool but also their looks, especially while playing music was a knockout.
I really respect each member of them. Robert Plant on vocals, Jimmy Page on guitar, John paul Jones on base, and John Bonham on drums. Their music also is inspiring, beautiful, pretty lyrical, and progressive. And Jimmy Page is often counted among the three greatest guitarists in the world.
And the activity of them ended not long after the great drummer, John Bonham passed away.

And my Zep-fever lasted to the encounter with the Doobie Brothers, one of the greatest American rock bands.

Hi Masa, I was enjoying listening to the show, which sounded clearly, I was very easy to listen to it. Why don't you try to sing their songs for next time, I'm really looking forward to it, though. Anyway, keep it up. I will upload some audio on my blogs, too. Have a good luck!

One of my deepest regrets about my music life in my teens is the fact that I did't buy Zep's supposedly best album 'Presence'. I really love every tune on this album now, but the most favorite one is 'Achilles Last Stand'. I feel like I missed a lot by not listening to this album when I was a teenager.
Jimmy Page's guitar playing, especially bluesy phrase still turns me on though he is not supposed to be technically as good as other 'great' guitarists.
These days, I find it more and more difficult to listen to one whole album of heavy metal or hard rock music. But I really share your passion for Led Zeppelin.

Hi Ame san! Yeah I used to listen to every album of theirs a billion of times. My most favorite one is "Physical Graffiti". I also love Jimmy Page's bluesy playing of his guitar like you.
Pretty delightful thing for me about them is that Jimmy and Robert still sometimes appear on media lately.
しかし、全盛期の彼等はホンマ最高ですなぁ!
